Monsalvat, nº78. 1980 Entrevista a Christa Ludwig Por Susan Gould, desde Viena Christa Ludwig sabía desde hacía meses que teníamos pendiente una entrevista pero, a pesar de que nos habíamos visto en Salzburg, Viena, Munich y Hamburgo, no se pudo encontrar la ocasión apropiada. Y fue ella misma la que sugirió que podríamos aprovechar una pausa en los ensayos de orquesta con Solti, que coincidían con una estancia mía en la capital austríaca, entre dos viajes a Milán y Munich. Por una invitación de Sanjust, y contando con el permiso de Solti, tuve el placer de asistir a unos ensayos y así, finalmente, la señora Ludwig y yo pudimos charlar ampliamente, en dos sesiones, la primera en su camerino y la segunda en una sala de ensayos, donde nos interrumpían de vez en cuando los obreros ocupados en la preparación del Baile. Me doy cuenta de que las dimensiones de esta entrevista son anormales, pero prefiero reproducirla literalmente dado su interés.
